Tertiary Intake for Malaysian Public Universities 2007
The results of the public universities entrance for the academic session 2007/2008 was announced on 18th June 2007. Out of the 68 110 applicants, 40 116 have successfully gained admission into public universities nationwide. A total of 2447 Indian students have secured places in the universities compared to the 2443 in the previous session, hardly showing much increase.

In the last intake, there was a total of 23 607 students offered science stream courses while 16 409 students were offered arts stream courses. In the current intake, 23 140 students have been given places in science stream courses while 16 976 students have been offered arts stream courses.
