Kedah Junior Club

The launching of the EWRF Junior Club Kedah was held at SJKT Ladang Perbadanan. The programme was held on the 14th March 2009 from 9 am till 7 p.m. This is a follow up programme of TIC (Total Immersion Camp) 2008.
TIC was an intensive and innovative English camp that was held for UPSR students to help them have a smooth transition into their Form 1 classes.
EWRF Junior Club is not only a supportive programme for the TIC 2008 students who are currently in Form 1; it’s also a leadership programme that aims to advance their academic and social skills.

Although the aim of the programme sounds rigid, the programme held in SJKT Ladang Perbadanan, could hardly be described as one. All of the activities were fun filled and entertaining. The children played games, had a debating competition, painted out their own logos, performed various presentations on stage and sang cheers.
The children also had an experience sharing session where they voiced out all of the good and bad experiences that they had undergone when they joined Form 1. The negative experiences and the fears that they had were carefully heard and they were given counseling. The children were motivated to handle their problems and forge ahead in their studies.
The programme was a memorable on to all those present. We at EWRF hope to have many more similar programmes later on through-out the year.
