Partnership is strengthened

dEWRF previously had received substantial funding from MCEF-CCI (Centre For Community Initiatives).  In 2006 a new project called “Career Guidance and Counseling Workshop” (C3G) was launched by EWRF in partnership with CCI. C3G was aimed at linking students to suitable careers and their occupational possibilities and helping students make decisions by participating actively to discover their attitude, skills, hobbies, interest, personalities and values based on John Holand Theory.

EWRF conducted 7 workshops in 2006 for Form Four to Form 6 students at 7 secondary schools in the Klang Valley. More than 700 students participated in these workshops. In order to conduct more workshops in 2007, EWRF has requested funding from CCI. CCI principally has agreed to fund the workshops which will be conducted at 30 secondary schools nationwide.
