EEP Highlights 2009

There was a huge turnout at SJKT Batu Caves on the 18th February 2009, for the “Parents Gathering”, for the English Enrichment Programme (EEP). The support for the programme was surprisingly heart warming. Five parents actually volunteered to become teachers for the EEP programme. This was a dream come true for all those involved. This was a one of the steps in which parents can help students with their academic and social development.

The parents who volunteered were given special teachers training on the 22nd February 2009. Hundred and sixty standard one students turned out for the EEP classes, which started on the 28th February 2009

We hope that more schools undertake such projects. This current programme was possible due to support from the SJKT Batu Caves headmaster and the PIBG.
